12 Jan Young Mother Records Heartbreaking Video For Baby Boy Before Giving Him Up For Adoption

Most people would agree that there is nothing worse than losing a child. However, a child passing away is certainly not the only way in which you can lose them.

Indeed, sometimes people make the difficult – but necessary – decision to give up their parental rights entirely so that their child will have a better chance in life.

Twenty-one-year-old Hannah Mongie from Utah did just that and even recorded a very moving video of the last few moments she spent alone with her newborn baby. Ultimately, Mongie gave him up for adoption two days after his birth in March 2016.

The video which was posted on Facebook has been seen millions of times from people all around the world who are both devastated and moved by the poignant clip.

Mongie was only 18 years old when she found out she was pregnant. She had been with her boyfriend, Kaden Whitney, only two months and neither of them were prepared to become parents.

Tragically, Whitney, a church missionary, passed away in his sleep two months later, from natural causes.

Before his untimely death, the young couple had already settled on adoption as the best way of going about the situation. However, after he died, Mongie was in two minds about whether or not to go ahead with the adoption.
