04 Sep Yet Another ‘Hot Felon’ Lands Modelling Contract After Mugshot Goes Viral

Remember Jeremy Meeks? The man who was once deemed the “world’s hottest felon”. The 33-year-old’s mugshot became viral when the Stockton Police Department posted it on their Facebook page. Women all over the world couldn’t get over his perfect tan, blue eyes and flawless cheekbones. These women even offered to pay his bail and let him stay at their homes!

As most of you already know, he’s now out of prison and is, needless to say, a bona fide model. All eyes were on him when he walked the runway wearing Philipp Plein at the designer’s Cannes show in May this year. However, could the handsome former prison inmate now be fading into irrelevance, and purely because of one arguably hotter rival?

I guess sometimes crime really does pay… 

It’s true – there’s a new hottie flying high in the ranks of the nation’s criminals. Mekhi Alante Lucky from North Carolina may just have knocked Jeremy off the top spot! He was arrested on theft charges and in 2016 his undeniably hot mugshot went viral. This led to St. Claire Modeling, an agency based in Atlanta, contacting him and offering him a full-time contract.

Just looking at Mekhi, it’s not hard to imagine why his mugshot has received so much attention. He has a very striking look, which just adds to his allure – he has one blue eye and one brown eye that stemmed from a genetic condition called heterochromia. He has now been added to the list of models who will be taking part in Fashion Week in New York.

“I saw his mugshot last year. His look is extraordinary. I immediately found him interesting. I just didn’t know who he was,” Demanti O’Bryant, the founder St. Claire Modelling revealed. “Eventually I found him on Instagram and reached out.”

Before his career kicked off, Mekhi took part in a test shoot which perfectly demonstrated that he really does have it in him to take the fashion world by storm. Take a look for yourselves…
