Going through a pregnancy is one of the most life-changing things that can happen to you. But naturally, you’ll hope that your pregnancy will be as ordinary as possible, but sometimes that simply isn’t the case.

When Chrissy Corbitt from Florida was pregnant with her third child, it wasn’t long before she became aware that her stomach was growing extremely rapidly. In fact, it was growing at a much faster rate than was normal for someone who was pregnant with just one child.

Towards the end of her pregnancy, Chrissy’s belly was so big that people assumed that she was having twins. Although Chrissy was assured that she was pregnant with just one child, she didn’t know just how big her baby would be until it was delivered via C-section last May.

Ultimately, Chrissy gave birth to a 13-pound, five-ounce baby girl who she and her husband, Larry, named Carleigh Brooke.

Astoundingly, Carleigh was almost twice the size of an average newborn baby. Chrissy even compared her daughter to the “size of a toddler” shortly after the birth. “It looked they pulled a toddler out of my belly. She’s so big,” she recalled. In fact, Carleigh was so big that she couldn’t fit into baby-wear fit for a newborn.
