It’s only natural to assume that the cops spend their days catching criminals and generally enforcing law and order. I mean, that’s pretty much their job description, right? Well, it turns out that once in a blue moon, they’re assigned to some pretty bizarre cases.

When this creepy Victorian toy was discovered unexpectedly, the cops were called in to launch an appeal to find its owner. The discovery was made all the more unsettling by the fact that it came with a note addressed to one “special little girl”.

The creepy discovery was made in a suburban town in Surrey, England. A woman found something that could very easily have been an old prop used during the ‘A Spoonful Of Sugar’ number in Mary Poppins in her backyard.

She woke up one day to find that an old, rusty rocking horse had been dumped next to a tree with an unsettling note attached to it. A note implying that the toy horse was intended as a gift. But for who? Well, the cops are still trying to figure that out.
