Woman Spends $50,000 On Surgery To Look Like Her Cartoon Idol Jessica Rabbit

You’d be lying if you said that you’ve never wanted to imitate your idol. Why? Because if humans weren’t inherently obsessed with copying celebrities and stealing their style from others then this world would be a very different place.

Think about it: Would the Kardashians get any airtime if it wasn’t for the fact that teenagers around the world want to look like them? Would Instagram even exist if we had no desire to visit the same restaurants as our favorite movie star? Probably not.

Carly Mersola was so desperate to look like Jessica Rabbit, it cost her $50,000:

But for some, it is not enough to simply steal their icon’s style. Take Carly Mersola, for example. The 26-year-old has spent an eye-watering $50,000 on cosmetic surgery to look just like her cartoon idol, Jessica Rabbit.

The California-native splashes a shocking $10,908 every six months in order to maintain her cosmetically-enhanced looks, which includes – but is not limited to – hair extensions, lip injections and sessions on a tanning bed.

The bartender, who wants to “look as plastic as possible”, has been under the knife multiple times in an attempt to transform herself into a real-life version of Jessica Rabbit from the 1988 animated hit Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
