28 Jul Woman Gives Birth To Surprise Baby, 20 Minutes After Going To Hospital With Stomach Pains

Imagine getting an unbelievably painful stomach ache, rushing to the hospital and then 20 minutes later, you have given birth to a baby girl.

Sounds inconceivable, right? Surely you would’ve known that you were pregnant? Apparently not, as this is exactly what happened to one woman, who went to hospital with a tummy ache only to give birth half an hour later.

Adele Duncan, 23, was woken from her sleep by an extreme pain in her stomach and rushed to the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Twenty minutes later, her daughter Macie arrived after just six pushes, and with only 17 minutes to spare until Christmas Eve.

Macie is now seven-months-old and it is believed that Adele conceived her in March or April 2016 following a brief fling with a man who she asked not to be named, despite them remaining friends. The mum has admitted that she hadn’t used contraception with the man, although she showed no signs of being pregnant and even continued with drinking and smoking throughout the pregnancy.

However, despite not thinking there was anything strange going on, Adele had the surprise of her life on December 23rd.
