23 Aug Woman Finally Has Cyst The Size Of A “Fidget Spinner” Removed After 20 Years
We live in an increasingly superficial world where our beauty and grooming routines are more stringent than ever. We spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars each year on beauty products that we hope will make us just a little more comfortable in our own skin.
But personal grooming is not all makeup and hairspray, sometimes it involves doing the absolute revolting. And there are few things more unsightly – as far as our beauty regimes go – than popping pimples. And yet many of us are obsessed with not just popping our own pimples, but other people’s or even just watching as their pimples are popped.
There are multiple YouTube and Instagram pages dedicated to posting videos of cysts being removed, blackheads being scraped – you name it. And despite how undeniably gross these vids are, they’re insanely popular.
And what better example is there of a popular pimple popping YouTuber than Dr. Pimple Popper herself. Yep, Dr. Pimple Popper, whose real name is Dr. Sandra Lee, began sharing her work with the world back in 2010. And since then, the Los Angeles-based dermatologist has seen her fanbase soar to a whopping 4.1 million subscribers on YouTube.
If these sorts of videos are right up your street, then prepare for a treat because this clip (courtesy of Dr. Pimple Popper) is as gut-churning as they come:

There’s just something very satisfying about watching sizable cysts being deflated, even if it means having to see excess amounts of pus go down with it. And for some “pop-aholics”, the gorier the procedure, the better.
It’s totally worth watching the vids from beginning to end just to experience the relief you will inevitably feel once the offending pimple has finally been removed.
Yep, Dr. Pimple Popper’s YouTube channel offers an array of gripping videos from the mundane to the extreme, videos which really put your gag reflex to the test.
Here’s a bit of background info on the cyst in question:
It’s called a Pilar cyst but is also known as a trichilemmal cyst, an isthmus-catagen cyst, or a “wen”. They look almost identical under examination to the more common epidermoid cyst, aside from the fact 90% of them occur on the scalp. They tend to be firmer than epidermoid cysts and stem from a different part of the hair follicle/skin.
The actual cyst is benign, but it’s not uncommon to have more than one pilar cyst on the scalp and for these cysts to run in the family. More often than not, treatment is for cosmetic purposes as people tend not to like their appearance.
And if you still haven’t watched the video then what are you waiting for?! I mean, the content of the patient’s cyst was so substantial, it could have been a makeshift fidget spinner.
Perhaps you might want to take a look at Dr. Pimple Popper removing a growth the size of a “chicken tender” out of this patient’s arm:

Whenever I watch a video of this nature, I am utterly astounded by all the gross stuff that can be pushed out of the human body, and this clip is no different.
