As any devotee of the fast-food chain McDonald’s will attest to, chicken nuggets are often the best thing on the menu. Although they may not look like much, the delectable, deep-fried snacks are always the right choice, whether you need a mid-week pick me up or if you need some help recovering from a night out. And whilst big, juicy hamburgers are always there in times of crisis, the humble chicken nugget manages to straddle the careful balance of being just the right amount of bad food.

So I can understand when people get protective over their food – I mean, we’ve all been in the position where we just have a few fries left and our friend starts eyeing them up.
