Motherhood isn’t easy. Your child relies on you for everything when they are still a baby, a lot when they are growing up, and even when they have left the nest, it’s your duty to always keep a close eye on them – providing guidance and help when necessary.

But one mom’s job has been made a lot harder than it needs to be because strangers won’t stop staring at her baby…

Okay, admittedly, Lisa Foxtrot’s baby is more than a little unusual. She became a mom to her beloved taxidermy fox in December 2015, and her life has never been the same since. Her love for her child, who she has named “Baby Jesus”, is so strong that they go everywhere together.

Instead of opting for something standard like perfume or vouchers, her friend thought he’d make a great Christmas present.

“I took naturally to being his mum because he is just a little baby, and I look after him and care for him as if he is my own,” Lisa said in an interview with the Metro.

Baby Jesus is treated like any other toddler in Lisa’s home and even has his own jump swing.

Baby Jesus and Lisa go everywhere together, even attending games of bingo – although we assume that there aren’t any other babies around while Lisa briefly takes her eyes of him to shout she’s got two fat ladies. Maybe he’s her lucky charm.

Not wanting to keep Baby Jesus all to herself, Lisa has been causing a stir on Instagram with his pictures.
