The scheme has been carried out countless times by spies, blackmailers and private investigators, but sometimes it is just amateurs who try out the practice. This is the case for Julie, who turned to the YouTube channel To Catch a Cheater to carry out such a scheme.

Normally the channel deals with people hoping to find out whether their partner or family member is a cheater or not, usually by an actress employed to flirt with them and tempt them into committing adultery. But not in this case. When Julie set up her husband for the cheat test, she did so in the hopes that he fall into the trap. But it did not go how she expected it to.

Julie is married and looking for a divorce. It is her belief that if she captures her husband cheating, it would be reason enough for her to get a divorce. “We’ve been married a long time,” Julie explained, “every time we get into an argument, he calls me names, he’s verbally abusive. I’m ready for my life to begin”.
