19 Jul Waitress Destroys Male Customer Who Groped Her With One Bold, Quick-Thinking Move

In the past year or so, issues surrounding harassment and unwanted advances have become one of the biggest talking points in our society. There’s no denying that the Weinstein scandal was a huge driving force in this.

When news of the scandal emerged in October of last year, it had a huge knock-on effect in Hollywood, leading to numerous other allegations of illegal misconduct.

It wasn’t long before a movement resulted from the outrage; a movement which rapidly gained momentum.

This movement, now known as the #MeToo Movement, then started branching out into other industries, really hitting home the idea that concern for victims of such misconduct should apply to people from all professions and walks of life.

The thing is, while most people are a lot more careful not to engage in behavior that could be interpreted as perverse, others simply cannot resist touching people inappropriately and invading their personal space.

One of the latest victims of this is a server at an outdoor restaurant, and the whole incident was captured on the establishment’s security cameras.

In the video, which can be seen below, the innocent waitress is groped by a male customer who clearly thinks this is an okay way to treat other people. Needless to say, his abhorent actions don’t go unpunished, as the waitress teaches him a lesson in common decency…

Usually, we speak about those on the receiving end of harassment as though they were victims, but this woman is no victim. Her reaction was fast, gutsy and totally unexpected. So what exactly did she do?

Well, immediately after her butt was groped, she turned around and taught the guy a lesson he would never forget. She did this by grabbing a hold of the guy – with total ease I might add – before slamming him into a trashcan. The Redditor who posted the footage, under the name ‘sploogesock’, claims to be the server’s cousin.

According to another user on the site, who claims to work at the same restaurant, this type of sexual misconduct happens constantly at the restaurant. “We just put the cameras up so this was the first guy we’ve been able to prosecute,” they wrote.

It didn’t take long before the footage was shared by The Chive on Twitter and pretty much everyone who saw the tweet couldn’t wait to see the perv get his just desserts. “Good for her!” one user wrote in response.

“Did she just throat slammed that fool through the table!? Bruh, she bad,” said another while a third wrote, “So much of this trash out there. Good for her”.

According to ‘sploogesock’, the perpetrator was later arrested at the restaurant in front of his wife and two children.

Unfortunately, this incident certainly isn’t the only one of its kind to occur recently. In fact, a completely different server, this time in Rome, New York, was forced to the call the police on an inappropriate diner.

Before the unfortunate encounter, Jayme Adair had been working as a waitress at Denny’s Restaurant for five years and never once did she have to contend with an incident of this nature.

But during one particular shift, a customer slapped her butt, completely without her consent.

Footage from the restaurant’s surveillance cameras clearly captured Clarence H. Locke Jr. grabbing Adair’s behind while she was delivering menus.

What makes this whole situation even more repugnant is that Locke did this all while his wife was using the restroom.

This is how Adair described the regrettable encounter:

“The whole situation just blew me over. I was in shock. I have never had anything like that happen to me before. The customer and his wife came in together. As I went over to take his order he reached as far as he could just to reach me and smack my butt pretty hard.”

“I froze up. It was degrading and embarrassing, and completely out of the blue. I got super upset about it. I just told my manager to get him out and get him away from me, then the cops came and got him arrested. So many women go through this and it is not fair. I did nothing wrong and I did not deserve that.”

When the police arrived at the scene, Locke was charged with forcible touching. If he is found guilty, he could face a year behind bars or three years probation.

Jeffrey Lanigan, Detective at the Rome, NY Police Department revealed:

“The subject was at Denny’s restaurant – he is a regular there. The waitress went over to take his drinks order and she turned around to walk away and he reached out and slapped her on the butt.”

“We identified the subject using video surveillance and took him to custody,” he added.

A female co-worker of Adair has since publicly voiced her support for the decision to have Locke arrested and hopes the incident will highlight that widespread sexual harassment is still ongoing.

“I have had comments before but they were not vulgar like that,”  she said. “I want to make sure he is actually punished because it is not something minor to me – it bothers me.”

Let these stories be a lesson to anyone who has a lax attitude toward groping people without their consent – it could potentially land you with a prison sentence.
