But perhaps the best thing about the technologically proficient world that we live in is that we can order food from our favourite restaurants straight to our door if we’re feeling a little peckish.

Food delivery services such as Deliveroo and UberEats have revolutionised the way we eat, making us decidedly more antisocial beings. Instead of indulging in the typical end-of-the-week treat and going for a nice meal with our friends, we now choose to stay at home, glued to our instant streaming services, stuffing our faces with gourmet food. Ah, isn’t modern life all that you imagined it to be?
