05 Sep Trans Model Who Said “All White People Are Racist” Gets Grilled By Piers Morgan During Heated Interview

Transgender model Munroe Bergdorf caused a stir last week after a Facebook rant calling “all white people racist”. She had been named L’Oreal’s first transgender model days prior to this shocking statement.

In the wake of the outrage her Facebook rant caused, L’Oreal removed Bergdorf from the position, which saw her act as the “face of modern diversity”, because her comments were “at odds” with their values.

The 29-year-old British woman, whose father is Jamaican, has since deleted her Facebook rant. However, it remains widely available online because of its controversial content.

This is what she wrote:

“Honestly I don’t have energy to talk about the racial violence of white people any more. Yes ALL white people.

Because most of ya’ll don’t even realise or refuse to acknowledge that your existence, privilege and success as a race is built on the backs, blood and death of people of colour.

Your entire existence is drenched in racism. From micro-aggressions to terrorism, you guys built the blueprint for this s***.”

Bergdorf has since defended her words, claiming that they were “taken out of context”.

But 52-year-old television host Piers Morgan – who is famed for being outspoken and divisive himself –  challenged Bergdorf’s comments on the popular British television show, Good Morning Britain, after she was invited to appear and defend her comments.

Needless to say, it was a heated and somewhat uncomfortable interview…
