If you’re looking for prime procrastination material, Reddit is a weird and wonderful place. You can find threads dedicated solely to cat memes or, as we have been seeing recently, calls for help in regards to uncovering the identities of some rather peculiar looking sea creatures.

In a thread titled, “anyone have any idea what this is?!”, Reddit user xxviiparadise appealed to the internet when he discovered a rather monstrous looking sea-creature washed up on the shores of Malibu. Luckily, the user appealed to one of the internet’s most resourceful communities, and they were able to provide him with some likely explanations at to what his sea-oddity may have been.
