If you’re planning on robbing a house sometime soon (which you definitely shouldn’t be, by the way), surely you would make sure that there isn’t a guard dog in the house before commencing with the act? Burglary is up there with the lowest crimes someone can commit. To honestly believe that you have right to just take someone’s belongings that you haven’t worked for, is completely ridiculous. Not only this, but the psychological affects that robbery can have on its victim, are horrible.

However, one burglar got a bit more than they bargained for when they tried to rob this home in Virginia. If the markings on the wall and floor are anything to go by, this robber got into a scrap with the family’s German Shepherd, and lost heavily. Not much is known about what exactly happened in the house, but it’s clear that the dog did enough to put the would-be robbers off. When Tristan James Murrin and his family returned the their family home, they found blood stains all over the doors and carpets of their house.
