If you’re a woman, chances are that you’ve endured some form of harassment from men. Whether that’s being catcalled on the street, or having to withstand male colleagues making misogynistic remarks, it’s truly rare to find a woman who has not felt belittled by men at one point in their lives.

Whilst the feminist movement has certainly seen a resurrection of late with public figures such as Beyoncé and Patricia Arquette pledging to uphold women’s rights and support marginalised women across the globe, it’s clear that we still have a way to go as women are still subject to micro acts of aggression on a daily basis.

Certainly, women often have to brave unsolicited remarks about their physical appearance. This can be on the streets, or even on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Tinder. However, one woman came up with the perfect way to troll such men: simply to accept their compliments.
