16 Jan The Very Last Person ‘The Cranberries’ Singer Dolores O’Riordan Spoke To Reveals Her Last Words
Yesterday, news came to light that Dolores O’Riordan, the lead singer of the beloved 90s band The Cranberries, died suddenly at the age of 46.
The body of the Irish singer was discovered at 9:05 am in a Hilton’s Park Lane Hotel in London where she was staying while recording new material with the band Bad Wolves.
According to the Metropolitan Police, her death is currently being treated as “unexplained”.
Of course, we won’t know for sure how exactly she succumbed to her untimely death until the autopsy reports are published.
However, her friends have previously described the singer as “dreadfully depressed” and in 2013, it was reported that she had attempted suicide.
O’Riordan’s friend, Dan Waite, the last person she spoke to, said that the musician sounded vibrant and “full of life” when she left him a voicemail just after midnight on the day she died.
Dan Waite is the international managing director of the record company Eleven Seven Music. He and the ‘Linger’ singer were working with Bad Wolves on their upcoming album but they had actually been friends for years.
