31 Jul The Queen Has Banned One Of Meghan Markle’s “Filthy, Sexy” Foods From Buckingham Palace
Now, I don’t know about you, but I have always been under the assumption that princesses live happily ever after once they snag their Prince Charming. Take Cinderella and Princess Tiana, for example. Both had their lives totally transformed when their handsome heirs offered them their hand in marriage. However, that hasn’t quite been the case for Meghan Markle.
Of course, Meghan Markle was never an ordinary girl who needed saving by a good-looking, rich royal. And, despite marrying a prince, she will never be a princess like Cinderella. Instead, she has become the Duchess of Sussex, a title that doesn’t quite fit the Disney fairytale aesthetic.
Of course, it’s unrealistic to assume that real life could be remotely like a fantasy folktale. But, in all the pomp and pageantry of the British Royal Family, it is easy to forget that there is no such thing as a happily ever after.
There is no denying that their wedding day was a true fairytale moment. Watch the highlights and remember that special moment…

But whilst we, the general public, may all be easily fooled by the gold-gilded carriages pulled by pristine ponies, and the lavish silver service state dinners, those with an exclusive view behind the red velvet curtain are not so enchanted by the life they have unwittingly had thrust upon them- and there is nobody who feels this more than Meghan Markle.
Once a star in Hollywood, Meghan was accustomed to doing as she pleased. She often attended glamorous A-list parties and glitzy movie premieres where she spoke openly about her political view, all whilst wearing a revealing dress that showcased her perfectly primed pins.

When she wasn’t rubbing shoulders with the entertainment industry’s elite, the California-born actress was showcasing her #blessed life on Instagram in snaps that flaunted her exotic vacations, celebrity connections, indulgent meals and lavish purchases. Her timeline was peppered with pictures of her humanitarian work too, highlighting her passion for helping those in a less privileged position.
Of course, now that she is married to Prince Harry, the sixth in line to the British throne, there are few people in the world who are more privileged. But that has come at a cost to the once free-flowing, yoga-loving Meghan.
Everything she once enjoyed was stripped from her the moment that Prince Harry slid that exquisite diamond ring onto her finger. Hollywood parties, fancy vacations, and mini dresses are all a thing of the past. Not only that, but Meghan is no longer permitted by protocol to discuss her political stance, something that she is no doubt finding challenging in the world’s current climate.
For example, she wouldn’t be able to make another speech like this one…

But, whilst this can all be forgiven in return for a fancy title and a few jewels, there is one thing that Meghan will no doubt struggle to adhere to – even under the Queen’s strict orders.
What could it possibly be? Well, apparently, the Queen is no fan of Meghan’s favorite food, a slow-cooked courgette and pasta creation – a dish Meghan once seductively referred to as “filthy, sexy mush.”
According to former Royal chef Darren McGrady, the Queen is rather anti-pasta. In fact, she is rather adverse to carbs in general, choosing to tuck into grilled chicken and fish with vegetables rather than rice, potatoes, and pasta.
Of course, this is no surprise given the Queen’s age. There are few 92-year-olds that do appreciate fussy food. A traditional meal is the way forward for that generation.
Thus, it’s safe to assume that when Meghan is invited to supper at Buckingham Palace, pasta will be strictly off the menu – along with garlic, which is also banned for Royal Family members apparently, given that it could give them bad breath during official engagements.
Whilst the garlic certainly makes sense, it has to be said that banning pasta from the Buckingham Palace premises is quite extreme. I think it’s time the Queen tried some macaroni and cheese – no doubt a favorite with her grandchildren, Prince George and Princess Charlotte – to help show her what she is missing!
