23 Jan The Moving Moment Young Deaf Boy Hears Music For The First Time And Can’t Stop Dancing
It is a well-known and indisputable fact that us humans take a hell of a lot for granted.
We take the roof over our heads for granted, we take the relationships in our life for granted and above all else, we take our health for granted. It’s only when we hear stories about the misfortune of our fellow human beings that we realize how good we really have it.
For instance, we recognize that humans have five main and incredibly important senses. So when we hear (no pun intended) about others who don’t have one or more of these very fundamental senses, we instantly feel empathy.
Well, prepare yourself for the waterworks because this because this story and the video that accompanies it is a very moving one.
The story is about a four-year-old deaf boy hearing music for the first time and being unable to stop dancing.
Watch the heartwarming moment in all its glory in the video below:
The boy’s name is Jace Lee, and there was a time in his life when he couldn’t hear at all, but it didn’t start off that way. His hearing loss was brought on very suddenly and it was later discovered that he had been suffering from bilateral sensorineural hearing loss.
