04 Aug ‘The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air’ Might Be Making A Comeback And People Are Freaking Out
We all remember Jazzy Jeff, right? Known formally as Jeffery Allen Townes, the world grew to love Jazz as the silly sidekick to Will Smith on classic 90’s show, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. We watched in amusement as the pair got into shenanigan after shenanigan, and would chuckle as Jazz gave Will some unwarranted and usually unhelpful advice during tough situations.
Well, in case you didn’t know, Jazzy Jeff and Will have been friends in real life ever since the Fresh Prince, and have collaborated on music endlessly. In fact, DJ/producer Jazz and Rapper/Actor Will are set to reunite on stage for the first time in twenty years this summer at the Limewire Festival in Blackpool. But as excited as we are to hear more of what Will’s got to offer in the music game (I mean, who didn’t love Switch, right?), we can’t help but wonder… is the Fresh Prince ever going to make a comeback?
There have been revival rumors circulating for years, mostly because the public just really wants to see Smith roaming around Bel Air one more time. But it was not until now, over 20 years after the show’s end, that we’ve heard an actor from the show (this time, Jazzy Jeff), confirm that the possibility of a reunion is definitely on the table.
