The show’s protagonist, Piper Chapman, was your average American girl with a good job and great fiancé until her world came tumbling down when her dealings with her former girlfriend, Alex Vause, came back to haunt her…

Piper soon finds herself thrust into the world of Litchfield Penitentiary; a prison that’s filled with a host of weird and wonderful convicts. It takes Piper a while to get used to life in prison, but she soon finds herself enamoured by her former flame again. Serving time for smuggling illegal goods, she becomes top dog in a world that she thought she’d never fit into.
