Everyone knows that parents with access to a Twitter account is a dangerous thing. If you have a parent on Twitter, Facebook, or really anything wherein their words have the potential to be plastered all over the Internet with no hope for ever disappearing, then you only have one point of solace: that they probably don’t have that many followers/friends.

The same cannot be said for celebrities, whose public following means that many super fans will probably follow their parents on social media to see what they have to say. Unfortunately for Seth Rogen, his mother has become a Twitter star, and fans seem like they’re about to start liking her more than her actor son.

In a fantastic use of the humble simile, Rogen’s mom decided to shoot this tweet out to her 42.5 thousand followers:

When Seth and his sister saw the tweet, they spiraled through a series of emotions, including shock, disgust, and sadness. Understandably, Seth’s very first reply to this was, “Jesus f*cking Christ mom.” Sandy thwarted back at him with, “It’s just an observation of life!” Seth then replied, “Whatever!!”, and momentarily transported back to his 8th grade self, probably wishing he had a bedroom door to slam so his mom would get the message.
