03 Apr Scruffy Farmer Gets Dramatic Makeover From Oprah, Transforms Into Handsome Hunk

Every now and again, it’s nice to have a makeover to the point where we’re transformed almost beyond recognition. Yes, looks are superficial, but if you had a whole day – or perhaps longer – to feel good about yourself, you’d take it, wouldn’t you?

But unlike most people’s transformative makeovers, Jason’s was captured on Oprah in the ‘Make Over My Man’ episode, and just looking at Jason, you can see why Oprah’s staff thought he was just right to be transformed in the episode.

They spotted him at a local Lowe’s home improvement store and immediately decided to approach him, and the rest, as they say, is history.

“They stopped dead in their tracks!” Oprah said of her staff who discovered the secretly “hunky guy”. “Oh, this is a makeover dream!”

“So, be honest I thought, this is a Halloween costume, “Gunn said. “Really! Who navigates the real world looking like that?”

The caption for Oprah’s video called “The ‘Farmer in the Dell’” read: “They knew that beneath the baggy overalls, the long bleached goatee and the tattered cowboy hat, there was a handsome man yearning to be set free.”

Jason was pretty lucky that he had been handpicked to get the makeover of a lifetime on Oprah. But to top it all off, it was Project Runway mentor/fashion consultant, Tim Gunn, and celebrity hairstylist Diana Schmidtke who carried out his life-changing makeover.

And, of course, it ended up being a complete success – when Jason came out and unveiled his new look, everyone was in total and utter amazement.

He had transformed from an unkempt farmer to a handsome man with a brand new attitude to go with his new look. It just goes to show that we all have the potential to look smoking with just a little bit of effort!
