04 Jul Rapper Eminem Actually Has Three Daughters And They’ve All Grown Up To Be Beautiful Women

Eminem’s reputation as the straight-talking (often excessively so) performer who spews outrageously offensive lyrics, has been a huge focus in popular culture for decades now.

While some of his harshest and most provocative hits have often been praised by the critics for their openness and vulnerability, the rapper has, throughout his career, been confronted with accusations of casual homophobia and misogyny.

In terms of Eminem’s supposed homophobia, he’s no stranger to the f-word and to this day still fights for his right to continue using it.

Plus the 45-year-old rap icon has also written lyrics that play out violent fantasies featuring women, namely the 2000 song, ‘Kim’. The uncomfortable revenge tune is actually about his then-wife Kim Mathers and ends with him murdering her and later burying her.

But while his lyrics are often interpreted as being anti-women, the charismatic performer is actually a devoted father to three beautiful daughters.

Now, if you’re vaguely aware of Eminem and his personal life, you may be thinking to yourself, “But I thought he only had the one daughter – Hailie Scott.”

Well, you’re wrong – Hailie is his only biological child but he also adopted two other daughters named Alaina and Whitney.

The man behind Slim Shady adopting kids who desperately need homes? It’s enough to melt his oh-so-tough exterior, right?

Well, maybe not quite, but the truth is, in many ways, he’s just like every other dad, and has done much to ensure his kids receive as ordinary an upbringing as possible.

So who are Eminem’s daughters, what are they all up to these days and how has their relatively unusual upbringing shaped them as young women?

We’ll start with Hailie Jade Scott – like I said, Hailie is his only biological daughter. She was born on Christmas Day in 1995 to Eminem’s ex-wife Kim, with whom he had a very tumultuous relationship.

Assuming you’re a fan, you’ll be aware that Hailie has been the subject of many an Eminem song. But now she’s an adult, she’s making her own mark on the world.

You’ll probably be surprised to learn that Hailie is now 22 years old because, back in the day, she was always the little girl Eminem used to rap about.

Back when the not-so-little girl was a high school student, she was crowned homecoming queen, and she then went on to graduate summa cum laude.

Then in 2014, she enrolled as a student at Michigan State University where she studied psychology. As for how her love life is shaping up, Hailie has been in a relationship with former fellow MSU student Evan McClintock for over two years.

Hailie is fairly open about what she gets up to in her personal life, occasionally documenting her life – as many of us do – on Instagram.

It would appear that Hailie has little interest in becoming a musician and seems more drawn to all things beauty and fashion, often showing off her makeup skills on social media.

She currently lives in a four-bedroomed house in Detroit, Michigan, just minutes from her family home and regularly visits her mom and siblings. Hailie also maintains that she has a very close relationship with her dad.

She once said that both her parents “have pushed me to be the person I am and have given me all the support to achieve what I have.”

Now onto Alaina, who is also sort of Eminem’s niece. Alaina Marie Mathers was born in 1993 to Dawn Scott, the twin sister of his ex-wife Kim.

Like Kim, Dawn had struggled with drug addiction, leaving Alaina in urgent need of a healthier, more stable home.

Eminem felt that he would be able to provide that stable home for her, so he stepped in and became her adoptive father. After the adoption proceedings were complete, Alaina’s name was changed (she used to be called Amanda), and Eminem now calls her Lainey.

Tragically, back in January 2016, Alaina’s biological mother was found dead in a Detroit trailer park after overdosing from heroin.

Her then-boyfriend said that she would do “any kind of drugs she could get her hands on.”

The death of her mother couldn’t have been easy, but the 25-year-old seems to have handled it quite well. And to this day, Alaina keeps a relatively low profile and lives a pretty quiet life.

Now onto Whitney, the second of Eminem’s adopted daughters and the youngest of all three.

Born in 2002 to Kim Mathers, the rapper and occasional actor adopted her because her father, Eric Hartter, had been facing a lot of legal problems – many of which stemmed from drug-related charges.

Whitney currently lives with her mother and little brother but regularly sees her adopted dad.

It’s pretty incredible – considering what a high-profile rapper their father is – that these three young women have largely managed to steer clear of the public eye. Their lives appear to free of drama, hard drugs and excessive partying, and we can only hope that they continue down that road.
