Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Won’t Be Inviting This Prominent Royal To Their Wedding

The union of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is already being lauded as the social event of the year. So naturally, everyone who is anyone is angling for an invitation to the ceremony at St. George’s Chapel on May 19 – including Donald Trump, who is reportedly expecting a gold gilded invite to appear on the White House doorstep any day now.

The small chapel at Windsor Castle is expected to play host to the rich, famous and powerful as the 33-year-old prince ties the knot with his American sweetheart. But there is one person who will be noticeably absent from the day’s proceedings, as she was from Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding in 2011.

According to a source, Sarah Ferguson will not be part of her nephew’s big day. Ferguson, who was married to Prince Harry’s uncle Prince Andrew, the Duke of York for 10 years, is a controversial figure within the Royal family.

Whilst married to Prince Andrew, Ferguson attracted a great deal of media attention for her brazen association with other men, of whom Texan multimillionaire Steve Wyatt was most notable. With Prince Andrew away on naval and royal duties, Ferguson appeared to seek comfort elsewhere.
