20 Sep Pregnant Pictures Of Daenerys Have Emerged And Fans Are Rightly Freaking Out

In the Seven Kingdoms, bloodlines are of the utmost importance. Every king and queen needs an heir if they are to ensure that their legacy continues. It’s no secret, however, that Daenerys Targaryen is unable to have children. Or is she?

The Mother of Dragons is determined to sit on the Iron Throne, but now that season seven has drawn to a close, fans of the hit HBO show have begun to speculate whether or not she will fall pregnant with Jon Snow’s baby in season eight.

At the end of season seven, the sexual tension between Jon Snow and Daenerys quite literally climaxed, and the two got together not knowing that they are actually aunt and nephew. Now a photograph of a ‘pregnant’ Daenerys has emerged.

Whilst this picture is obviously photoshopped (we think), it’s got fans talking about the possibility of Daenerys falling pregnant in the show’s final season, despite it being prophesied that she would never be able to have children of her own in season one.

This happens when Daenerys tries to resurrect Khal Drogo with blood magic, something which leads to not only his death, but the death of their unborn son, Rhaego. The maegi Mirri Maz Duur then tells Daenerys when she will see her beloved husband again:

“When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east. When the seas go dry and mountains blow in the wind like leaves. When your womb quickens again, and you bear a living child. Then he will return, and not before.”

On the surface, it sounds like Daenerys is being told that she can never have children, but some fans have speculated that it’s actually a reference to her falling in love again and having a child. And prophesies aren’t meant to be taken literally.

Now it looks like the impossible is set to happen.
