Last weekend, London celebrated Pride month with the 45th iteration of its celebration of LGBT citizens. A record 26,000 people descended on the capital, traversing 1.4 miles through the centre of London, passing through Oxford Circus and Regent Street along the way.

London Pride 2017 marks 50 years since homosexuality was decriminalised in the United Kingdom, and thousands of people from all over the world came together to celebrate equal rights, regardless of gender or sexual orientation. All throughout the parade, law enforcement helped to keep the peace and ensured that everyone was safe during the festivities, but one police officer got involved in the celebrations in the best possible way.
