30 Jul Police Discover Hidden Cannabis Farm Behind A Disney Frozen Poster In Child’s Bedroom
Cannabis farmers have to go to extreme lengths to hide their farms, and understandably so. In the UK, if you are found to be growing a substantial amount of cannabis, you are liable to face time in prison and get whacked with a criminal record for the rest of your life. There has been stories of weed farms being stored underneath caravans and below vacant warehouses, however, this particular weed farm might just be in the oddest location we have seen.
Despite repeated calls to legalise cannabis in the UK, it is still an illegal substance. So when police in Sheffield raided a house as part of a drugs bust on Saturday afternoon, they were clearly looking for some of the green stuff. But what the police didn’t expect to find, however, was a small cannabis farm growing behind a fake wall in what what appears to be a child’s bedroom.
Officers found a cannabis farm behind a poster from the animated film Frozen, and they certainly weren’t letting it go (sorry, awful pun). They had raided the house in Manor, Sheffield, when they discovered a false wall in the bedroom. Using some regular DIY tools to take the panel of the wall off, the officers stood frozen at what they found hidden behind the image of the film’s main characters, Elsa and Anna.
