01 Aug Police Caught On Camera Brutally Torturing A Teenager With Taser

Three Tennessee deputies have landed themselves into some seriously hot water after footage emerged of them repeatedly tasering an 18-year-old boy while he was restrained.

Jordan Elias Norris, who is now 19, says that he suffered more than 40 taser burns after he was arrested and held at Cheatham County jail for drugs and weapons offences in November 2016. He has since filed a lawsuit against the police force in the U.S. District Court, accusing the deputies of using excessive force, failure to protect and for deprivation of civil rights.

The shocking and distressing footage, which can be seen below, shows one of the officers repeatedly tasering Norris while he is bound to a chair. One officer can be heard in the jail surveillance footage, saying: “I’ll keep on doing that until I run out of batteries”. The deputy can also be heard telling Norris to “stop resisting” as he automatically starts writhing around in pain.

It is believed that the deputy stunned Norris “four times totalling approximately fifty seconds on his stomach and legs” according to the lawsuit, which has been obtained by the Tennessean.
