Plastic surgery has steadily increased in popularity over the last couple of decades. And a lot of this stems from how widespread it is in Hollywood or amongst those in reality TV circles. A lot of what we learn about body image comes straight from the media, and what many of us have learned is that the more we change our bodies, the happier we will be with what we see in the mirror.

But what if you happened to be married to a plastic surgeon? Would that make you any more likely to succumb to the allure of a potentially more attractive and younger-looking body?

Well, in the case of this particular family, the answer is a definite “yes”:

Phillip Craft, a plastic surgeon based in Miami, has spoken out about how he uses his wife, Anna, as a model for potential clients after completely redesigning her body with a whole host of cosmetic surgeries.

The 47-year-old surgeon runs his own clinic and claims he has been “fine-tuning” Anna’s body following the birth of their two sons. Forty-three-year-old Anna has spoken of her delight that her husband was able to give her a brand new body.

Throughout their 21-year marriage, Anna has had breast enlargement procedures, liposuction, Botox, butt “enhancements”, body-contouring surgery, waist and abdominal sculpting, cheek, and lip fillers. And although she initially refused to let her husband give her a nip and tuck, she changed her mind after giving birth to her two sons, 13-year-old Aston and 11-year-old Phillip.

In fact, Anna is so happy with the results that she’s perfectly willing to have even more procedures done by her husband.

“Phillip loves redesigning his sports cars, our furniture and, most of all, me. After having two kids, I decided to let him fine-tune me,” Anna said. “He’s enhanced my breasts, sculpted my waist and injected fillers in my face. Phillip even sculpted my abdomen to look like a proper six-pack instead of just a one-pack!’

“I always say to patients, ‘If you want to know how good a surgeon I am, then look at my wife’. Anna’s as close to perfection as possible,” Phillip added.

Although it may seem pretty unusual to most people, it seems that both parties are happy with this arrangement, so we can only wish them all the best. They have lasted 21 years, which is almost a miracle as far as the longevity of marriages goes these days.
