It was a craze which, unsurprisingly, started with the aforementioned Kardashian/Jenner clan. In fact, at one point it was even suggested that every single daughter of Kris Jenner was with child. After Kourtney and Kendall laughed off the rumors, Kim revealed she was expecting her third child via surrogate and Khloe admitted she was having her first child with short-term boyfriend Tristan Thompson. Meanwhile, 20-year-old Kylie’s pregnancy status is still a closely guarded secret.

Just as the interest in the Kardashian women’s uteruses reached an intense peak, Chrissy Teigen came forward to add to the frenzy by revealing that she was due to give birth to a baby boy – news which was no shock to her dedicated fans who’d been speculating that the model was pregnant for several weeks.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge even added their own royal twist to the new craze by announcing that they are expecting their third child in April 2018.
