Parents Disown Teenage Daughter After She Ran Away With A Man 33 Years Her Senior

There is no denying that people have become more accepting of a variety of different relationships, but there are still some kinds of pairings that will cause parents to disown their kids.

Many people believe that it is inadvisable for a young person to start a relationship with someone a lot older them, and families will often go to extreme lengths to end these relationships.

Nineteen-year-old Michaela Matson is in a relationship with a man who is a staggering 33 years her senior, and, naturally, many people are skeptical of the pairing.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, Matson from Omaha, Nebraska, talks about the dynamics of her relationship with William Maldera – a man who is old enough to be her father.

According to the teenager, she simply fell in love with the 53-year-old truck driver.

Matson, who is currently studying photography at college, believes that there is nothing shameful about their relationship. She claims it is to all intents and purposes a normal, happy, and healthy pairing.

So how did a much older man manage to woo a girl who has only just begun her journey into adulthood? Well, back in 2016, the couple met on a ‘venting app’, which allows for to people complain about their lives to people they don’t know.

Although the app isn’t necessarily a dating app, sparks flew instantly between the pair and the rest, as they say, is history.

“The first time I saw William’s photo, I was thinking, ‘Wow, he’s handsome,’ and was attracted to him straight away,” Matson said. “I liked his nose, it’s cute and crooked because his mom broke it as a child – then he has the most gorgeous light brown eyes that are completely breathtaking.”

It took some months of constant chatting before the pair finally decided to meet up, and, when they did, they couldn’t deny the chemistry.
