19 Mar O.J. Simpson Has Slammed Colin Kaepernick Over Kneeling During National Anthem
Why is anyone even listening to OJ Simpson any more? Sometimes I think he just says infuriating things to get back in the headlines. Now the former NFL star has been digging up Colin Kaepernick’s kneeling incident from 2016 to try and ruffle some feathers.
Fresh off the airing of the Fox documentary, OJ Simpson: The Lost Confession, where OJ hypothetically confessed in great detail to murdering his ex-wife and her friend (which is a weird thing for an innocent man to do), OJ is rehashing the past once again and is actually criticising Kaepernick’s protest against black oppression.
“I think Colin made a mistake,” Simpson told The Buffalo News. “I really appreciate what he was trying to say. I thought he made a bad choice in attacking the flag.”

Of course, anyone who remembers anything about Kaepernick’s protest knows he was not attacking the flag. Kaepernick refused to stand for the national anthem and instead bent down on one knee, using his celebrity platform to draw attention to racial injustice and police brutality.
Kaepernick was blacklisted by the football community for his polarizing actions but said, “To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder”.
