23 May Newborn Twins Separated After Birth Won’t Stop Crying, But Doctor Knows Just What To Do

Whenever my partner and I talk about having kids, we always talk about how wonderful it would be to have twins. Dressing them in matching outfits and watching them play pranks on people throughout their lives. But one thing we always neglect is the fact twins come with twice the costs, twice the mess, and twice the noise!

Twins will always have a special bond with each other and that bond is present from the moment of birth. Proud father, Dane Lyman, was able to capture that bond on camera after the birth of his twin sons, Weston and Caleb.

The twins were separated at birth and crying. From watching the video, you immediately understand that the constant screams would have been like nails down a chalkboard. Honestly, within three seconds I had already given up on the idea of having twins completely.

Fortunately – before everybody surely lost the will to live – the quick-thinking doctor knew exactly what to do, and showed the new parents exactly what to do in order to stop the incessant crying.

The video has now received over a million views on Facebook, but it was taken so that Dane could show it to his wife, who, having just given birth, was not able to witness the incredible moment in person.

“My wife Lisa wasn’t able to see that and didn’t even know it was happening. When I showed her, she was emotional and grateful I captured that moment. We both still tear up when we watch it,” Dane said of the heartwarming reunion, which you can watch below.

The twins, who were born on February 28 in Orlando, Florida, are now 11 weeks old and will surely have a close bond for life.

Perhaps after spending so much time together in the womb, the adorable newborns never want to be apart outside of it either.

“One of our greatest hopes, when we found out we were having twins, was that, as they grew, they would be good friends and support one another”, Dane said. “Seeing them comfort each other just moments after birth was almost like the first step in that special relationship.”
