27 Jul Netflix To Debut New Show From ‘Simpsons’ Creator Matt Groening

Matt Groening, what a man. Groening has given us close to 30 years of pure entertainment through the legendary animated series, The Simpsons, and it seems like he is showing no signs of slowing down. You would think that despite hitting the grand old age of 63 and making millions of dollars throughout his career, Groening would be nearing retirement, however, that couldn’t be further from the truth.

Matt Groening appears to have plenty left in his creative tank, and has signed on to do a new animated show with Netflix. The company has ordered 20 episodes across two seasons from Groening, on a new show that will be titled “Disenchantment”. According to a statement from Netflix, the show will be “an adult animated comedy fantasy series” and the hilarious premise for the show, alongside the fact that Matt Groening is the man behind it, means that it will no doubt be a major success for the streaming platform.
