NASA’s Proposal For Establishing Life On Mars Has Gone Viral For All The Wrong Reasons

Ever since Neil Armstrong made one small step for man and one giant leap for mankind in 1969, people have wondered when humanity will set foot on Mars. The Red Planet is the most similar planet to Earth in our solar system, and NASA are planning to eventually colonize it.

The distance between Earth and Mars, however, is colossal, and it will apparently take one and a half years for humans to reach the Red Planet. In an attempt to stop astronauts from having sex with each other on the journey, NASA has proposed using an all-female crew.

According to Britain’s first female astronaut Helen Sharman, NASA would need a gender divide on long-haul missions to ensure that they are carried out as efficiently as possible. Sharman revealed that the proposal was created “some years ago” to help combat the “impure thoughts” that would inevitably arise in a small group of people being forced to spend so much time together in a confined space.

“Nasa has never released it, but it was done to see exactly the kind of crew makeup was necessary for the reason we have already alluded to.

It found that the crew should be the same gender: all men or all women.”
