23 Apr Morgan Freeman Had Affair With Step-Granddaughter, Her Boyfriend-Turned-Killer Claims
In 2015, Morgan Freeman’s step-granddaughter, E’Dena Hines, was murdered by her boyfriend, Lamar Davenport. She was stabbed 25 times outside her Manhattan residence while Davenport was high on several drugs, including PCP.
Davenport has been charged with second-degree murder and could be facing 25 years behind bars. He is pleading insanity.
While Davenport’s murder trial is ongoing, a video has surfaced, which was recently viewed in court. It was filmed by Hines just hours before her murder. It shows Davenport sitting with friends while heavily intoxicated and threatening her:

“Mr. Davenport did not possess the intent to kill Ms. Hines,” his therapist said. “My opinion was that he lacked substantial capacity to appreciate the wrongfulness of his actions and know the nature and consequences of his conduct.”
However, the courtroom has revealed all sorts of interesting information about not just Davenport and Hines’ relationship, but also about an alleged affair with her famous step-grandfather, Morgan Freeman. Davenport claims the pair maintained a secret relationship.
Davenport’s lawyer said on Friday, “E’Dena Hines disclosed to Lamar Davenport and others that her grandfather engaged in a sexually inappropriate relationship with her.” Testimony from a therapy session was also provided where Davenport admitted that he and Hines often argued about infidelity.
Rumors of Freeman’s relationship with his step-granddaughter have been circulating for years after an article appeared in the National Enquirer in 2009 claiming the pair were even planning on secretly getting married.
