Bringing a child into the world is one of life’s most wonderful experiences. On the contrary, losing a child is one of the most excruciatingly painful things to endure. The emotional devastation that occurs through the loss of a child is unimaginable for those of us lucky enough to not have experienced it personally.

This was the tragic event that Valerie Watts suffered, as she lost her baby son. She was nine months pregnant, with only a few days before she was due to give birth.  “All week I knew, he wasn’t moving as much,” she told Fox 9, “I was very nervous”. It was at this point that she was given the bad news. She was carrying a stillborn baby.

As it was so late in the pregnancy, the presents and purchases had already built up for the arrival of the baby, who was to be called Noah. She was left with various items that were now useless, with baby clothes, toys, accessories, and a crib. When it came to selling the crib, she was reluctant, but she didn’t expect that the world would give her a gift to help with her loss.
