06 Oct Mom Is Sent To Jail For Attacking Two Teenage Girls Who Were Bullying Her Daughter
Bullying is one of the worst things that can happen to you when you’re in high school.
Teenagers can be ruthless, and they have plenty of difficult issues of their own that many then project onto other kids. However, being able to return to a safe home after a day suffering verbal and physical abuse from your peers can really give a person the drive to battle through.
Having parents who support you and whom you can turn to when in distress is not only beautiful and heartwarming, but it’s a also a pretty fundamental need. If you’re not getting love and support at school, you need to be getting it from somewhere else.
But what if the support you were getting from your mom and dad went far beyond what you would typically expect from a parent? What if they interfered in your school life in a way that got not only you into trouble, but themselves too?
Well, when 33-year-old Joanna Higgs found out that her daughter, Demi Knox, was getting bullied at school, she made sure to take action. However, what she ended up doing to “resolve” the situation landed her straight in jail.
So, what did she do exactly? Well, she was found guilty of assaulting two teenage girls who she claims were bullying her daughter.
Higgs confronted her daughter’s tormentors, allegedly chasing after and punching 13-year-old Lilly Hulse and 15-year-old Dominique Nash. The protective mom went to extreme measures after being made aware that her daughter was being bullied relentlessly by a group of students which included these two girls.
