It wouldn’t truly be Christmas if you didn’t fall out with your family at least once. Be it over a game of Monopoly or the correct way to flambé the Christmas pudding – the festive period can be the make or break for even the most passive of homes.

However, one family you wouldn’t expect to be embroiled in a festive dispute is the British Royal Family. Always elegantly poised, it is hard to believe that behind the gold-gilded curtains which conceal their lives, that they’re just like us, feuding over trivial things and calling each other names.

But whilst we try and conceal our contempt for one another from the neighbors who listen to every word through the walls, the Royal Family have very little chance of keeping their issues private.

This year, despite preparations for a Royal wedding and third Royal Baby, it would appear that it was not all self-celebration for the Royals. Instead, Prince Harry used the occasion to make a very public dig at his future wife’s family.

Speaking to BBC Radio 4, the 33-year-old prince told listeners how he and his fiancée had had a “fantastic” Christmas at Sandringham with the rest of the Royal Family, and that his relatives “loved having” the 36-year-old American actress in their midst.
