07 May Meghan Markle’s Father WILL Walk Her Down The Aisle, But This Royal Won’t Be Attending The Wedding

It may only seem like yesterday that news of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s engagement was announced, but now we’re under two weeks away from their special day.

Of course, for the young couple, it must feel like they’ve been waiting years for this moment. Since the moment their romance was revealed to the world, they have had to overcome a great deal of controversy, as well as the public’s perception of the relationship.

A majority of the contempt for the charitable couple came from Markle’s family, who didn’t hold back in revealing what they really thought about the union to the British press.

No doubt, their cruel comments took their toll on the 36-year-old former actress who, having now been inducted into ‘The Establishment’, had to remain quiet about the scandalous stories that featured her name.

For example, in the latest attempt by the Markle family to sabotage the bride’s big day, her half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr., begged for Prince Harry to re-think his decision before “it’s too late”.

In the same letter, he claims that the sixth-in-line to the British throne is yet to see the “real Meghan” before going on to call the Suits star “jaded, shallow” and “conceited”.

Markle Jr., who hasn’t spoken to Meghan since 2011, then went on to claim that she’d left their father “bankrupt” after abandoning him with all her debt when she became famous. Not content with ending there, he also announced that Meghan hadn’t invited their father to the wedding.

However, it would seem that Thomas Markle Jr. hadn’t been informed of the truth, for according to Kensington Palace’s official statement, Thomas Markle Sr. shall be there to walk his daughter down the aisle at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle:

“Prince Harry and Ms. Markle are very much looking forward to welcoming Ms. Markle’s parents to Windsor for the wedding. Mr. Thomas Markle and Ms. Doria Ragland will be arriving in the UK in the week of the wedding, allowing time for Prince Harry’s family, including The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, and The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, to spend time with them before the big day.
