20 Jun Meghan Markle’s Dad Reveals What He Made Prince Harry Promise Before Giving Him His Blessing

It’s been a month since the Royal Wedding took place, but you’ll probably remember that there was a lot of Markle family drama in the lead-up to the big day.

From Meghan Markle’s estranged family members arriving in London uninvited to the bizarre time her half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr., “begged” Prince Harry to call off the wedding, the controversy seemed to have no end in sight.

Then, with regards to Meghan’s 73-year-old father, Thomas Markle, there was the whole “will he, won’t he turn up?” fiasco.

This was fuelled by the painfully awkward situation he had gotten himself into when he staged paparazzi shots of himself preparing for the wedding with the encouragement of his other daughter, Samantha.

When asked about the controversial debacle he had gotten himself in, Markle explained, “I spoke to them both and I apologized. I realized it was a serious mistake. It’s hard to take it back.”
