The Royal Family are famous for their dedication to tradition. No matter how archaic or baseless the protocol, they follow it religiously. But, that could all be set to change when Meghan Markle marries Prince Harry in May this year.

The California-born actress has already shaken things up in the stagnant Royal waters despite having only been engaged to Prince Harry for just over one month.

The 36-year-old Suits star raised eyebrows over Christmas when she was invited to join the Royal Family for festive celebrations at Sandringham House, the Queen’s private home in Norfolk – a courtesy that was not extended to Kate Middleton when she was engaged to Prince William, despite the fact that she’d been dating the future King for a considerably longer time.

Markle, who has been married once before, has also chosen not to indulge in the Royal women’s penchant for flesh-colored tights. Instead, the bride-to-be chooses to go bare-legged showing off her enviable pins for the waiting paparazzi.

Not only that, Markle also has her own social media accounts – although, she hasn’t shared anything since she became engaged to the fifth-in-line to the British throne – despite there being a strict ban on any British Royals having a personal platform online. However, Prince Harry is known to have his own Facebook and Instagram account under a fake name.
