While the youth have always been touted as the future, it would seem that, in today’s society, they are also the here and now.

Certainly, the rise of new technology and availability of the internet to all has seen younger and younger entrepreneurs make waves with their ideas and inventions that resonate with their own generation – which is, of course, largely the target market for such innovations.

Take Ben Pasternak for example. Having lived in a $5,000 a month apartment for the last two years, enjoying $160 haircuts and counting Drake among his friends, Pasternak is a successful veteran app designer. He’s also only 17-years-old.

It is considering individuals like this that make one recall their own misspent youth, although frankly $160 for a haircut seems a little expensive even for someone as obsessive over their mane as I am.

Now though, news of an even younger trendsetter has emerged, after reports abound of a six-year-old girl who has already been featured in Vogue and amassed more than 100,000 Instagram followers.
