21 Feb Meet The 18-Year-Old Who Spends $1,500 A Month In Order To Look Like A Barbie Doll

If we were honest with ourselves, there is at least one element of our bodies that we would change if money – and judgment – were no option. More often than not, our desire to adapt our physical appearance is influenced by celebrities. Be it Angelina Jolie’s lips or J-Lo’s infamous derriere, we all have a vision.

For 18-year-old Gabriela Jirackova from Prague, the vision is Barbie. The teen is so obsessed with looking like the plastic doll that she spends an eye-watering $1,500 a month on her clothes, nails, hair and makeup. Her dream? To “[earn] money and becoming famous for my Barbie image.”

“I don’t believe in a natural look. I think there’s hardly anything natural today,” the Czechoslavakian teen proudly told BarcroftTV. “I was inspired by real-life Barbies, and also my dolls. I always wanted to stand out and this suited me.”

In her quest to turn into Barbie, Gabriela has undergone many surgeries. “I added lip fillers and permanent eyebrows. I spend three and a half hours each day just getting ready. This lifestyle isn’t easy at all. It starts with little adjustments, like hair. Then you want more and more,” she explains.

Her latest surgery involved a $4,500 breast augmentation, which increased her natural C-cup to a busty G-cup. How does she fund such extravagant surgery? Her mom.

“My mom is happy to see me follow my dream, but she’s not keen on plastic surgery, as such,” Gabriela explains.

“Many mothers condemn me for being a bad influence on their children, that I’m setting a bad example,” says Gabriela’s mom. “But I believe I am a much better example than the majority of other celebrities, who do drugs, change partners, drink, get involved in scandals, and those kids watch all of that and their parents don’t mind.”

Despite much criticism for her look, the 18-year-old is still planning more surgeries. In the future, she hopes to have butt implants, even bigger breasts and several ribs removed in order to make her look even more like her idol.
