31 Jul McDonald’s Employee Fired After Posting Shocking Photos Of Restaurant’s Disgusting Conditions

A McDonald’s worker claims that he has been fired after posting a photo of the drip tray from the restaurant’s ice cream machine on Twitter. The tray appears to be completely filthy and covered in mould, and paints a pretty bad picture regarding the health and safety guidelines that the fast food giant says is central to their business.

The images were posted by an employee called Nick, who was working at a Louisiana branch of McDonald’s at the time. The photos were captioned with Nick saying: “This came out of McDonald’s ice cream machine in case y’all were wondering…” earlier this month.

However, quick to respond, McDonald’s released a statement writing: “We are committed to running great restaurants that provide our customers with high quality food, service and a clean environment. This is a part of our soft serve equipment that does not come into contact with any food and is required to undergo regular and timely cleaning”. It is believed that McDonald’s have now fired Nick for posts, which can be seen below.
