Boudoir shoots are nothing new. In fact, they’ve existed in some form or another since the birth of photography itself, as people explore their sensual side.

Of course, the fascination with nudity began a long time before photography became available. Just look at the towering sculptures from the days of the Ancient Greeks or the work of Renaissance artists who were infatuated with the naked form.

These archaic mediums prevented nude art from becoming instantly available. Thus it took weeks, months and, in some cases, years for a body to be intricately crafted with clay, paint and other materials. This changed in the 19th century when the camera was developed giving people from all backgrounds the chance to explore their creative side.
