02 Aug Louis Tomlinson Honors Mom’s Dying Wish After She Told Him ‘Life’s Too Short’

Since his mother’s death this past December, former One Direction star Louis Tomlinson has been fulfilling wishes that his beloved mom told him before she passed. Tomlinson’s mother, Johannah Deakin, was only 43 years old when she lost her battle to a “very aggressive form” of leukaemia, after being suddenly diagnosed earlier in 2016.

Tomlinson, 25, received praise and admiration for the live performance he did just three days after his mothers passing, when he debuted his solo single, Just Hold On, on the X Factor. He said that it was his mother’s final wish that he go through with the performance. The heartbreaking song received a standing ovation, and the public’s admiration for Tomlinson’s dedication to his late mother continues even months later, now with Tomlinson facing another challenge in his life at the request of his mom: mending his relationship with Zayn Malik.
