On New Year’s Eve, 22-year-old American YouTuber Logan Paul uploaded a video which would ensure he was the most talked about person in 2018 – for all the wrong reasons.

The Ohio-born video star ended his career practically overnight after he uploaded a video which featured a dead body in Japan’s ‘suicide forest’. The backlash was instantaneous, prompting Logan’s reign on YouTube to crash down around him.

The sinister video gained international attention, leaving YouTube with little choice but to cut ties their golden boy. As a result, Logan is now facing a future where he cannot make revenue from his YouTube channel and other ventures backed by the video sharing platform.

Since the disgraced star’s exit from YouTube, his younger brother Jake has been hungry to fill the money-making void. With 13 million subscribers, Jake Paul is essentially a mini-version of his big brother, minus the enormous scandals.

The 21-year-old video star, who is known for his clickbait ridden video titles, incessant self-promotion and raucous behavior, is certainly no saint.
