Trolling is an epidemic on social media. Even the most careful of posters aren’t immune, and celebrities, in particular, often fall victim to the cruel comments it inspires – sometimes for the most bizarre of reasons. Case in point, Kim Kardashian-West’s recent vacation photographs.

The 37-year-old reality star recently took to Instagram to share a series of snaps from her April trip to the Turks and Caicos Islands with her sister Kourtney. However, the series of candid beach snaps ended up hitting the headlines for all the wrong reasons thanks to trolls.

While they are perfectly manicured in the picture above, she’d neglected to paint them in a second snap from her trip, and trolls were more than willing to let Kanye West’s wife know that her “yellow” toenail was “disgusting” – with some even saying that it looked like she had gangrene.
